See You Next Year!

Happy New Year's Eve! 2010 was a great year for pink and orange. There have been fabulous clothes, amazing home decor, and lots of adorable items for kids. Let's hope there is even better stuff in store in 2011!

See you next year!

Smells Like A Winner

For Christmas, my mom (oops, I mean Santa) gave my Twirl by Kate Spade in cute pink and orange packaging. Now I SMELL pink and orange. Fantastic!

There's a Wocket in my Pocket

Jud's dad gave me a pink and orange Wocket for Christmas. Haha!

She's pretty cute!

Clean Sweep

While in Texas for the holidays, my dad rented a carpet cleaner and we cleaned my pink and orange area rug. I'm not currently using it, but it was pretty dirty, so I wanted to get it nice and clean before storing it away. It went from beige to white, so I'd say it was a success.

I got the rug from PBTeen about seven years ago for my sophomore dorm room. They still carry it. Initially it shedded like crazy and I had to vacuum on a daily basis, but once it got its first deep cleaning, the shedding stopped.

Upcoming Update

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Santa was good this year, and he brought a lot of pink and orange my way. I'm hoping to take some photos and get the images up this week. In the meantime, stay warm!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope Santa brings you something pink and orange :)

Rocking horse ornament.

Is it cold where you are for the holidays? Because where I am, it is WARM. Like, these cute slip-ons from Kate Spade don't seem totally inappropriate.

Season's Greetings

Two more holiday cards with hints of pink and orange, this time from the MoMA Store:

Ornaments to Ogle

These adorable sweater ornaments weren't very well sourced on I Suwannee, but I wanted to share anyways.

Extreme Makeover

Pink + Orange has a brand new look! Jud has totally redesigned the blog, and I love it! He's working on his MFA in graphic design, and I've asked for him to do this for me during his last 3 quarter breaks (because he's too busy with projects when he's in school). Obviously it took some time, but it was worth the wait! It's better than what I could have asked for: the mark of a good graphic designer. The trees at the top are so cute. Thanks Jud!

Trim Your Tree

It's not too late to trim your tree in pink and orange.  Here are a few ornaments from Etsy:

Cute squirrel:

Clay stars:

Vintage stripes:

And a garland of circle:

Terrific Tree

Check out this fabulous Christmas tree, from Tobi Fairley, via Starfish & Sundresses, via I Suwannee.  Phew.  Clearly it is making the rounds, and for good reason.

P.S. Do you see the monkeys?

Rocking Stocking

Check out these cute stockings, which look great hung all together over the fireplace.  Find out how to make them over at The Purl Bee.

As a child, I collected Russian nesting dolls, and my parents would (and still do) display them in the living room.  So I'm a fan of the recent nesting doll trend.  Like these ornaments from Urban Outfitters!

Cheerful Cards

Laura answered my call for some pink and orange Christmas cards, and she really came through!  Check out these great photo cards from Paper Culture:

Joyful Outburst.

Layered Stripes.

All adorable!

Pattern Power

For whatever reason, Vera Bradley can be divisive.  I know plenty of people who love it, and I also know people who can't stand it.  Either way, here are a few of the many pieces in the pink and orange "Loves Me" pattern.

Hang On

Here's a cute holiday stocking from Roberta Roller Rabbit:

Close Knit

Old Navy never disappoints when it comes to finding cute, affordable cold weather accessories.  Like this knit hat and these flip-top mittens!

Baby's Bold Bedroom

Jud's mom sent me a link to this nursery from Better Homes and Gardens.  SO. CUTE. The mix of patterns and fabrics is fantastic.  Check it out:

Sleepy Time

I think these giraffe PJs from Gap Kids are adorable!

And matching slippers:

Card Catalog

Has anyone spotted any pink and orange Christmas cards? (Not that I will get around to sending any...)  This is the closest I've found, from Tiny Prints:

The Big Chill

It may be getting chilly outside, but it's nothing compared to how cold it must be in Aitkin, Minnesota.  Apparently, every year there is a contest on the day after Thanksgiving where people decorate their fish houses for a parade.  Here's my winner:

The Final Countdown

It's December 1, just in time for this adorable advent calendar from David Fussenegger.  How festive and unexpected!

Originally spotted on OhDeeDoh.

If you are crafty and want to make your own advent calendar, check out this cute tutorial from The Purl Bee, spotted by my buddy Emily.

Cruise Control

For some reason Elle magazine decided to dress Jessica Alba up in summer wear for their December issue. Whatever, all is forgiven because they put her in this bold YSL number:

And here it is on a model from the Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2011 Cruise Collection:

A Doll's House

Laura sent me a link to this amazing doll house from Kidkraft.  What little girl would not want this?

The brick on the outside is pink and orange:

Two for Tea

I am not a tea drinker, but these Tea & Cake cups from Twine are awfully cute.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Eat up!

Flower Wower

What a fun little dress from Maggy London!

Dress It Up

I don't remember exactly how I ended up finding this blog post from Sophias Sweet Spot, but what an adorable dresser!

That Hat

Cute hat alert:

From Kate Spade.

Shell Shocked

Oooh, what a fantastic little shell from Ann Taylor Loft!
