Shoe Sensation

On a recent trip to Zara, I saw an array of colorful sandals.

Yes.

No.

Maybe.

Put A Ring On It

Old Navy has really stepped up their game in the jewelry department. This necklace and ring are both fun and affordable.

Prints Charming

Jud sent me a link to these cute circus prints by Swedish illustrator Malin Rosenqvist, which he saw on designworklife. So funny and charming!

Bow Wow

Jud and I have gotten into many a good-natured argument about whether certain items are red or orange. I have a coat that I think is orange, but everyone else says is red. Oh well. I like a good red-orange. So I'm all over this Kate Spade handbag and coin purse.

The color is called sophronitis, which is a red-orange orchid.

A Tisket A Tasket

Laura emailed me a while back about Serena & Lily, and there are lots of beautiful things there. Isn't this Moses basket lovely?

Made in the Shade

My sunglasses are on their last legs. I guess you get what you pay for with $12 glasses, but on the flip side, it's fun to get a new pair every few months. So, maybe I should consider these pink and orange ones from Urban Outfitters.

Light as a Feather

This light little tee from Ann Taylor Loft looks ideal for a warm summer weekend.

Pretty Pansies

Scarves with tassels and pom poms seem to be all the rage. This one is Kate Spade, in the same pansy print as that cute dress.

Cut A Rug

Check out these amazing rugs from Morris Etc.

Gorgeous colors, and for a hand-woven rug, they are very reasonably priced. Check 'em out!

Starry Eyed

My apologies for a delayed post today. I was out of town this weekend and got behind. BUT reader Jennifer sent me a link to this dress from ASOS. I am super-bummed that it's sold out in my size, because I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

Love it!

Jersey Stripe

I spotted this dress at Zara last weekend, and if I didn't already have this very similar dress from H&M, I would have bought it on the spot. So cute!

Ok, so maybe it's not actually *that* similar. Do I need both?

Slip One On

Stubbs and Wooten is known for their slippers, and, if you're so inclined, you can created a customized pair. Here's what I came up with:

The bad news? I don't have $500 to drop on velvet slippers. The good news? Um, I don't need velvet slippers.

Calypso Cool

Calypso St. Bart is currently at Target, and apparently it's all the rage. I spotted a lot of cute pieces, from swimsuits to housewares, this weekend. Here are a few:

Girls' cover-up.

Cosmetic bags.

Weekender bag.

Dinnerware.

Tie-waist tank.

Doesn't it all look perfect for a weekend at the beach? Hurry to Target before it everything gets snatched up!

Derby Daze

Did you watch the Kentucky Derby this weekend? I missed it, but Laura sent me a link to this NYT article with a photo of a female jockey (Rosie Napravnik) sporting pink and orange silks at another race. Love it!

Happy Mother's Day!

This Sunday is Mother's Day, so I hope all you moms out there have a great weekend and get some special treatment!

And to my own wonderful mom, Happy Mother's Day!

P.S. Needlepoint paperweight from Jonathan Adler.

Get on Track

Need some new sneaks? We've got a pair from Reebok and another from Adidas.

Thanks to Laura for spotting the Adidas while out on the trails!

Shake Your Pom Poms

This Tory Burch pom pom scarf is sort of the opposite of my scarf from Paper Source:

Espa-thrill

These Kate Spade espadrilles on Endless (I never saw them on the KS website) are perfect for summer. It's tough to tell from the photo, but there are stripes of pink and orange ric-rac at the toe.

Fascinating Fascinator

I don't know about you, but I still haven't fully recovered from Royal Wedding Fever. So, I'm hoping this Philip Treacy fascinator (or is it a hat?) will be the cure.

Philip Treacy being, of course, THE milliner of milliners. All the royals were sporting one of his inventive creations.

Spotted over at Snippet & Ink.
